This privacy policy explains what information the MemoryGrid (Hafıza Izgara) iOS app processes and how it is protected.

Summary

MemoryGrid is a memory / puzzle game. The app does not show ads, does not use third-party analytics or tracking SDKs, and does not sell your personal data. Preferences are stored on your device and may optionally sync across your devices via Apple iCloud.

Data we store

Local settings on your device

To remember your game experience, the app stores the following preferences on your device (UserDefaults):

• Language selection
• Visual theme
• Player names you enter
• Last selected difficulty and grid size

These values are used for gameplay functionality only. They are not collected for authentication or marketing.

Optional iCloud sync

If iCloud is enabled for your Apple ID, the app may sync the preferences above across your devices using Apple’s iCloud Key-Value Storage (NSUbiquitousKeyValueStore). Synced content is typically limited to:

• Language, theme, player names, last difficulty / grid size

If iCloud is unavailable (for example on Simulator or when iCloud is off), the app continues with local preferences only.

Processing of iCloud data is subject to Apple’s privacy and security practices. See Apple’s privacy documentation for details.

Widget / shared preferences

If the app includes a widget extension, necessary game/status summaries may be shared on-device via an App Group. This data remains on your device and is not sold.

Data we do not collect

In the current version of the app, we intentionally do not:

• Integrate advertising networks
• Use third-party analytics or crash-tracking SDKs
• Use App Tracking Transparency (ATT) for advertising tracking
• Create accounts or collect email/password credentials
• Access location, contacts, photo library, or microphone (not required for gameplay)

System-level diagnostic or usage data managed by Apple (if you allow it in device settings) is processed by Apple; it is not custom tracking sent by this app to a developer-operated analytics backend.

How we use data

Stored preferences are used only to:

• Present the game in your chosen language, theme, and settings
• Optionally sync those preferences across devices signed into the same Apple ID

Your data is not sold, rented, or shared with third parties for advertising.

Retention and deletion

• Local preferences remain on your device until you delete the app or reset the relevant settings.
• iCloud KVS data is managed in Apple’s infrastructure according to your Apple ID / iCloud settings and app deletion / sync state.
• Deleting the app from your device removes local app data on that device.

Children

The app is a general-audience game and does not knowingly solicit personal data from children under 13. Parents may contact us with concerns.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. For material changes we will update the link in the app or on the App Store product page. The “Last updated” date reflects the latest revision.
